Chinese grammar——The“把”sentence（汉语语法——“把”字句 ）

一、定义（definition）

“把”字句is used to show the act done upon someone or something (the object of“把”)or to indicate the effect or result of the act.

二、“把”字句的结构形式（sentence structure）

         主语 ＋ 把 ＋ 宾语 ＋ 动词 ＋ 其他成分

        Subject + 把  + object  +  verb  +  other elements

如：     我     把   盒子   给   空姐了。

         你     把这杯咖啡  喝   了。

         你   没把   空调   开   开。

三、用“把”字句时应该注意什么呢？（attentions）

 1、动词（verb）一定是主语（subject）做的动作。 The subject must be the agent of the act the predicate indicates.

  ex: 我把盒子给空姐了。(“盒子”是“我”“给”空姐的。)

2、句子中的宾语（object）是确定的（it must be definite），也就是说听到这句话的人清楚说话人指的是什么。The object must be definite, it means the listener knows exactly what is being referred to in the context.

ex:“你把一本杂志给她。”（×） à 你把那本杂志给她。（√）
