Chinese Folk Songs

According to the current archaeological discoveries, Chinese folk music can be dated back to 7000 years ago. Not only in form but also in an artistic conception, the Chinese nation has created the colorful culture of folk music. Besides, it is mainly about pentatonic scale. Different from western traditional music, Chinese folk music pays more attention to the form expression.

Chinese folk song has distribute to many provinces, The folk songs are originally sang by labour people, then, more and more people accept the folk songs

There are three types of Chinese Folk songs, they are called: hao zi, xiao diao & Shan Ge. Usually, haozi is sung by male labour people, such as "Song for fisher". Shan Ge are sung by two people, such as "Xiao He Tang Shui". Xiao Diao with the nice tone, usually girls like sing xiao diao, such as "Purple Bamboo". There are more than 27 provinces and states in China, different place has different style of folk song.
